In the Caucasus, it is known from Azerbaijan and N Caucasus ( Otto 2023 ). It is the first record of P. medius in Georgia. Pulchellodromus medius is closest to the co-occurring in the Caucasus P. ruficapillus (Simon, 1885), from which the males of P. medius can be distinguished by the long and triangular conductor (compact and truncate in P. ruficapillus ) and different shape of the tibial apophysis.
