Cruriopsis funebris
(
Moore, 1872
)
=
Callimorpha nigralba
Fang, 2000
syn. nov.
Taxonomic note
.
Callimorpha nigralba
Fang, 2000
was described based on
two males
collected from Motuo, Southeastern
Xizang
(
holotype
, photographs examined) and Huangbaiyuan (In Mt. Qinling), Southern
Shaanxi
(
paratype
, photographs examined), and the male genitalia of the
holotype
illustrated by
Fang (2000)
are identical to those of
Cruriopsis funebris
illustrated by
Kiriakoff (1977a)
. Since the adults of both species also display no difference, we therefore synonymized
Callimorpha nigralba
Fang, 2000
with
Cruriopsis funebris
(
Moore, 1872
)
.
