Asexual morph

Colonies
circular, white, floccose, reaching
3–5 cm
diam in 7 days at 25 ºC.
Conidiomata
sporodochial, superficial, cupulate to discoid, gregarious or scattered, oval to elongate or irregular in outline, with green to black, glistening conidial mass at the apex.
Setae
arising from the basal stroma, thin-walled, hyaline, verrucose, septate, unbranched, flexuous to circinate, with an obtuse apex.
Conidiophores
short, smooth, branched.
Conidiogenous cells
phialidic, cylindrical to allantoid, hyaline, smooth to lightly verrucose, 9–15 × 1–2 μm (av. 12.3 × 1.5 μm), with conspicuous cup-shaped collarettes with periclinal thickenings.
Conidia
aseptate, smooth, hyaline, fusiform, 5–7 × 1–2 μm (av. 6 × 1.7 μm), bearing a funnel-shaped mucoid apical appendage.
