Lombard & Crous, Persoonia 36: 177 (2016) Fig. 4 Facesoffungi number: FoF 04191 Isolated from soil. Sexual morph : Undetermined. Asexual morph : coelomycetous. Colonies circular, white, floccose, reaching 3–5 cm diam in 7 days at 25 ºC. Conidiomata sporodochial, superficial, cupulate to discoid, gregarious or scattered, oval to elongate or irregular in outline, with green to black, glistening conidial mass at the apex. Setae arising from the basal stroma, thin-walled, hyaline, verrucose, septate, unbranched, flexuous to circinate, with an obtuse apex. Conidiophores short, smooth, branched. Conidiogenous cells phialidic, cylindrical to allantoid, hyaline, smooth to lightly verrucose, 9–15 × 1–2 μm (av. 12.3 × 1.5 μm), with conspicuous cup-shaped collarettes with periclinal thickenings. Conidia aseptate, smooth, hyaline, fusiform, 5–7 × 1–2 μm (av. 6 × 1.7 μm), bearing a funnel-shaped mucoid apical appendage. Material examined : CHINA , Guizhou Province , Sinan County, from soil, 4 October 2016 , J. R . Feng ( HGUP 8037), living culture GUCC 6037. Notes : HGUP 8037 matched with the description of Albifimbria terrestris in morphology of conidia and conidiogenous cells ( Lombard et al. 2016 ). The phylogenetic analysis also confirmed that our strain was A. terrestris supported by MP and ML analysis ( Fig. 2 ). This is the first report in China .
