DIAGNOSIS: A species of
Notoemys
(see table 1) that differs from
N. laticentralis
and
N. oxfordiensis
in having a first costal not contacting peripheral 3, peripheral 3 very small, and marginal scale 3 small and restricted entirely to peripheral 2, marginal 4 reaching peripheral 2; differs from
N. laticentralis
in having a slightly serrated rather than smooth posterior carapace edge, a notched pygal, narrower vertebral scales, and slight rather than no doming along posterior edge of pleural and vertebral scale areas.
