Las Galeras (Peninsula de Samaná), 3-X-2008 , four females and four males on Solanum sp. ( Solanaceae ); one male on Waltheria indica L. ( Malvaceae ). Remarks. This species has previously been recorded from Guadeloupe , Guyana , La Desirade, Les Saintes, Marie Galante, Martinique , Puerto Rico , Saint Martin and Trinidad-Tobago . The measurements of the specimens collected are very similar to the holotype and those reported by Kreiter & Moraes (1997) from mites collected in Guadeloupe .
