Sorolopha asphaeropa Diakonoff, 1973 Sorolopha asphaeropa Diakonoff, 1973 : 87 , fig. 148 (3 genit., South New Guinea ). Diagnosis . This species is similar to S. sphaerocopa ( Meyrick, 1930 ) in male genitalia, but the cucullus has a broadly rounded apex, which is narrow in S. sphaerocopa . It also resembles S. asymmetrana Kuznetsov, 2003 in male genitalia, but it can be separated by having the ventral prominence of the cucullus more rectangular apically. Material examined . China : 13, Shangsi ( 22°09' N , 107°58' E ), Guangxi Province, 510 m , 6-IV-2002 , leg. Shulian Hao & Huaijun Xue. Distribution . China (Guangxi), New Guinea . Remarks . This species is recorded for the first time from China .
