Diagnosis.
A
Dodomeira
group of medium-sized species (length: 3.25–4.00 mm.) with stubby body (length/width ratio: 1.43–1.58) and oval or sub-oval elytra. Rostrum with epistome inconspicuous. Mesorostrum with clavate and golden setae. Antenna with length scape/length funicle ratio 0.72–0.80. Pronotum transverse (length
0.75–0.90 mm
, width 0.85–1.00) with length/width ratio 0.85–0.90. Elytra clothed by dense imbricate earth-golden-brown scales here and there paler, with setae more or less spatulate, more or less recumbent (15°–30°).
Distribution.
The species of this group are known from central-western
Sicily
and the Madonie Mountains (

).
