A new European species of Delia RobineauDesvoidy (Diptera: Anthomyiidae) near the wheat bulb fly, D. coarctata (Fallén) Author Michelsen, Verner text Zootaxa 2007 1412 61 67 journal article 10.5281/zenodo.175665 38f2fd7a-33e5-46db-a6fd-ccf97b2125f3 11755326 175665 The Delia coarctata species group In this species group, which equals the ‘ Delia coarctata superspecies’ of Griffiths (1991) , belong four presently accepted species: D. coarctata (Fallén) , D. montana (Malloch) , D. latissima (Fan, Ma & Li) and D. coarctoides , new species . I agree with Griffiths (op. cit.) that the monophyly of the group appears well supported by the characteristic shape of the long surstyli that in caudal view are broad at base but turn very slen der distally ( Figs. 3–4 ). The following practical key to the males and females of the Delia coarctata species group uses characters that are normally visible without dissection.
