Discussion. Differential diagnosis.
Laminiceps infrequens
here described and
L. factiosus
sp. nov.
,
are the only known species with the scutellum almost entirely yellow (
Figs. 21–22
). In
L. infrequens
the apex of scutellum is black and basal angles yellow; corium without yellowish orange discoidal spot near middle third of apical margin; femora and acetabulae black; and pronotal disk with wide complete yellow transverse fascia absent in
L. factiosus
, on which the apex of scutelllum is yellow and basal angles black; corium with large orange discoidal spot near middle third of apical margin; femora clearly bicolorous; acetabulae with orange irregular spot; and pronotal disk with yellowish orange T-shaped mark near to midline.
