Type species: Tetradinodula bambusae Zha,2017 by monotypy and original designation. Description and differential diagnosis. The genus Tetradinodula was proposed by Zha et al. , 2017 for Tetradinodula bambusae Zha,2017 from Guizhou Province , China ( Zha et al ., 2017 ). This genus can be easily distinguished from other genera of the subfamily Cladonotinae by pronotum between posterior sulcus and humeral angles forming a four-nodule-like elevation ( Zha et al ., 2017 ). However, I examined the specimens carefully and found that width of longitudinal furrow of frontal ridge equal to or slightly wider than antennal groove, and without the typical characteristics of the subfamily Cladonotinae for Tetradinodula bambusae . Therefore, the classification status of Tetradinodula needs to be further studied. Composition and distribution. This genus consists of a type species only found in China
