Notes
. The species is not a
Pseudepitettix
species because the humeral angles of pronotum are absent; the fastigium of the vertex distinctly surpasses the anterior margin of eyes and the anterior margin of the fastigium of vertex is distinctly arcuate. It belongs to

Hancock, 1907
.
Epitettix yunnanensis
is easy to identify: the body is smooth; the vertex is much wider than one of the eyes; the median carina of the pronotum arch-like in profile, apex of hind pronotal process truncate.
