Remarks.
1). I believe that, with a very high degree of probability,
Tyrictaca hyalina
is a senior synonym for
T. yoshiyasui
, since the
holotype
of the latter (female) was collected in the same place and at the same time with the
holotype
of
T. hyalina
(male). In addition, these two taxa are very similar in details of external morphology, with the exception of the transparency of the forewing, which can only be of sexual nature. 2). This species was described from
two specimens
: a male (
holotype
) and a female (
paratype
), with the female collected in the vicinity of Nam Ngum Dam north of
Vientiane
in
Laos
. It is very likely that the female of
T. hyalina
belongs to a different species, and the authors mistakenly “married” the specimens of the genus
Tyrictaca
in their hands.
