Discussion.
As the nymphal characters are necessary to correctly diagnose and describe species in this genus, we prefer not to erect a new species for this material until the immature stages could be known.
Ecology.
Imagos were collected along the river margins (
Fig. 25
), at night, and during the rainy season (
June 2007
). Rivers were uncovered or partially shaded (Kaku-Parú), with acidic waters (pH=5). They were small to medium size streams (
17–30 m
wide; 2nd–3rd order), with bottoms mainly composed of bed-rock and gravels (Kaku-Parú).
