Diagnosis.
Pseudorostral lobes meeting for some distance at the front of carapace. Pereonite 1 visible in both sexes. Basis of third maxilliped not produced. Second pereopod with ischium. Female with well-developed exopods on pereopods 1 and 2, and usually with a rudimentary exopod on pereopod 3. Male with well-developed exopods on first four pereopods. Male with 5 pairs of pleopods. Endopod of the uropod with 1 article.
