Remarks Pseudopsis gonggaensis is a member of the P. sulcata complex, based on external morphology ( Figure 2 ). For now, this species is known only from the type locality at Hailuogou Nature Reserve ( Zerche 1998 ). Four of the seven available males were dissected to check the genital structures ( Figure 3 (c,d)). This species can be readily characterised by the longitudinal row of large triangular spines lying along the left side of the endophallus. The epipleural carinae of the elytra are visible in the posterior half in dorsal view.
