Small to medium sized leafhoppers. Head as wide as or wider than pronotum. Crown slightly concave to convex. Anterior margin of head rounded to face. Ocelli on anterior margin of head and slightly dorsal, close to or distant from eyes. Clypellus parallel sided, tapering apically, or widened apically. Pronotum lateral carina present. Forewings brachypterous to macropterous. Legs with hind femur macrosetae 2+2+1, 2+2+1+1 and 2+1. Pygofer with or without processes, with many macrosetae on caudal margin, with basolateral membranous cleft. Connective Y-shaped or V-shaped, with anterior arms widely divergent. Connective articulated to aedeagus. Aedeagus divided near base and with paired shafts, or bifurcate with branches forming semicircles, with paired gonopores. Style broadly bilobed basally with preapical lobe. Ovipositor protruding or not protruding beyond pygofer. First valvula with various dorsal sculpturing patterns, including reticulate, maculose, or granulose, without distinctly delimited apicoventral sculpturing. Second valvula gradually tapered or slender throughout, with small dorsoapical teeth on apical 1/4 to 1/2.
