(Figs 29-33 ): This species has been adequately described by Drew and Romig (2013) except for the postabdominal structures. It resembles B. bipustulata in possessing scutellum with a medial black band, hyaline wing without costal band, short yellow lateral vitta ending at postsutural supra-alar seta, but can be differentiated by the presence of separate black spots on face, all femora fulvous without fuscous/black markings. Male of the species has been examined for genitalia characters. Epandrium quadrate with proctiger smaller than epandrium; posterior lobe of surstylus as long as anterior lobe, epandrium (oval) in posterior view. Glans of phallus with acrophallus patterned; phallus 1.82 mm. This species was originally described from Philippines, distributed across China and Thailand, is being recorded from Meghalaya, India for the first time. Figures 110-114.
