The latter species was briefly described by Kieffer from Philippines ( Kieffer 1921 ) and subsequently recorded from Taihoku by Tokunaga (1940b) . Actually it is a doubtful species which has no diagnostic characters and its report from Taiwan is doubtful. Types in SDEI are not preserved ( Blech & Rohlfien, 1987 ). In the key to females presented below are not included: Atrichopogon kagiensis (known from male), A . rufescens Kieffer ( nomen dubium ) and A. flavidus (doubtful record, type locality - Philippines ). 1.
