Relation to host
Vagrant on leaf surface. No damage to the host was observed.
Etymology
Derived from the specific epithet of the
type
host plant,
fabri
.
Remarks
This species is similar to
Boczekella laricis
Farkas, 1965
(
Farkas, 1965
)
, but can be differentiated by prodorsal shield design forming a more complicated network than that in
B. laricis
, paraxial tibial setae (
l’
) present (paraxial tibial setae (
l’
) absent in
B. laricis
) and dorsal annuli with dot microtubercles (dorsal annuli smooth in
B. laricis
).
Distribution
China
(Henan).
