Remarks.
The species can be easily distinguished from other species of the complex by narrower head and smaller eyes, from
D. bimaculatus

D. flavoculatus

D. hubeiensis

D. hainanensis
by larger and sparser punctation of abdominal tergites, from
D. bimaculatus
and
D. hubeiensis
also by larger elytral spots, from
D. bimaculatus
,
D. siamensis
,
D. bellulus
and
D. hajekianus
by larger body size, from
D. siamensis
,
D. bellulus
and
D. hajekianus
also by unicolor femora.
