Comments
. The species is characterized by a wide and opened ventral base of the hypopygium, large gonocoxites with long and dense bristles in the apical third of the ventral side, a short and compact gonostylus with a short apical tooth and many (12–16) subapical spines in the apical half of the inner side, somewhat longer than the apical tooth. The species belongs to the
Sc. vitripennis
group.
