Remarks.
This species differs from
A. tuberosus
by having the antennal flagellomeres short; the clypeus with the median lobe angulate and long; the antennal scrobe carinate, but weak; the frontal angle of the ocellar triangle forming a right angle; the ocelli small; the transverse pronotal carina incomplete; the metapostnotal-propodeal suture straight; the mesopleuron with all the foveae open; the paramere shorter than the basiparamere, wide and truncate; and the aedeagus apical portion slender, whereas
A. tuberosus
has the antennal flagellomeres long; the clypeus with the median lobe rounded and short; the antennal scrobe carinate; the frontal angle of the ocellar triangle acute; the ocelli large; the transverse pronotal carina complete; the metapostnotal-propodeal suture convergent to the first metapostnotal carina; the mesopleuron with the mesopleureal fovea and suture closed; the paramere as long as the basiparamere, slender and rounded; and the aedeagus apical portion wide and swollen.
