Diagnosis.
Frons at narrowest point hardly more than one-third the width of an eye; arista plumose on basal half; scutellum with both pairs of seta present, one basal and one apical; femora brown with grey pollinosity, yellow at tips; tibiae and tarsi yellow; hind tibia without a distinct submedian posterodorsal seta. -group and is very easily identified with Emden’s (1940) key.
