In Venezuela , only from extreme south of Amazonas (Neblina) and Bolívar (Sarisariñama) States. Remarks : Vanzolinius discodactylus (Boulenger 1884) reported by McDiarmid and Paolillo (1988) from base of Neblina, but specimen later assigned to Leptodactylus diedrus ( Heyer 1997 ) . In Leptodactylus melanonotus species group of De Sá et al. (2014) .
