Ahmadi (2002) recorded Pachylaelaps magnus Halbert, 1915 from Iran , but we can not confirm this record. Mašán (2007) and Mašán & Halliday (2014) reported that P. magnus is a junior synonym of P . ( Pachylaelaps ) ensifer Oudemans, 1902 , and it has been widely misidentified instead of P . ( Pachylaelaps ) troglophilus Willmann, 1940 ( Mašán, 2007 ) , so we have removed it from our list.
