First recorded from Saudi Arabia , this species is new for the fauna of the Gambia . This species was described from Cameroun and was further recorded from Nigeria , Senegal , South Africa (Natal) and Uganda ( Cogan 1980 ). Host remarks. This species has been reared from C. purpureum and C. pedicillatus (Trin) Morrone ( Spencer 1973a ) .
