Notes . – The genus Michauxia ( Campanulaceae ) and its type species M. campanuloides have recently been the subject of a comprehensive treatment (see LACK & CALLMANDER, in press ). Alphonse Candolle followed the example of his father and quoted the two engravings included in L’Heritier’s Reliquiae when studying the genus Michauxia ( CANDOLLE, 1830: 211 , 1839: 457 ).
