Quedius (Microsaurus) equus Smetana, 2014

Diagnosis.
Quedius equus
distinctly differs from all other species of the
mutilatus
-group by the deep apical incision of the paramere and by low number (1-3) of sensory peg setae on its underside arranged in lateral longitudinal rows.
Distribution.
Quedius equus
is known from north-east Terskey-Alatoo Mountains in Kazakhstan and from Xinjiang province of China. Presumably it has a broader continuous distribution in this area.
