Records from Myanmar:
King Island (
Pocock 1889
); Reef Island (Tavoy); South Tenasserim; Malewoon (Tenasserim); Plapoo (Mt Mooleyit,
1,200–1,400 m
) (
Pocock 1893
). Based on the female holotype (
Karsch 1881
), kept in the Berlin Museum and revised by
Hoffman (1962)
.
Remarks.
Also found in
Thailand
(
Karsch 1881
).
Although
Pocock (1889
,
1893
) recorded this species from several localities in southern
Myanmar
, its identity still remains uncertain because all material found contained females alone. Only the discovery and study of a male from
Myanmar
or
Thailand
can help address the issue in the future (
Hoffman 1962
).
