Distribution. State of Eritrea , ( Ethiopia ?), Somalia ( Ferrer 2001 ) Remarks. With the exception of type locality (Asmara, Eritrea ), Salomona, Keren (both in Eritrea ) and the locality (Galgalo, Somalia ) given by Ferrer (2001) no further exact locality of the studied material is known. Major part of the studied material comes from “ Abyssinia ”, which is the area, previously known also as Ethiopian Empire. That was, what is now Ethiopia and some part south of Eritrea , but at its height the empire also included Northern Somalia , Djibouti , Southern Egypt , Eastern Sudan , Yemen and Western Saudi Arabia . It existed from approximately the 12th century until 1974. However, since the largest part of the empire lies in Ethiopia , I suppose that material which comes from Abyssinia was most likely collected in this country.
