Diagnosis: Antenna yellow, third segment a little darker than basal segments. Mesonotum and scutellum reddish yellow in ground­colour with black bristles. First abdominal tergite yellow, following segments black. Hairs on tergites brownish, marginal setae black. Tip of hypandrium indented ( Fig. 12 ). Distribution : Papua New Guinea : Coral Sea and Bismarck Sea (New Ireland ). Phenology : Adults observed only September (being the single collecting period).
