Comments.
It is superficially similar to
Xyleborus
spp., but shares the following synapomorphies with
Wallacellus piceus
and
W. striatulus
: rounded protibiae with>8 denticles; prosternal posterocoxal process only slightly inflated; pronotum subquadrate anteriad; sutural interstriae 1 on declivity broadened, with a pair of prominent and few minor tubercles.
