Diagnosis. Male genitalia ( Fig. 6 , 7 B): posterior lobe of surstylus parallel sided, narrow tip; ventral margin strongly S-shaped with distinct convex part of the curve ( Fig. 6 A). Cercus large, larger than half the length of surstyle ( Fig. 6 A). Aedeagal box short, 1/4 of length of hypandrium ( Fig. 6 B: ab); aedeagal apodeme attached to the theca in the middle of dorsal margin ( Fig. 6 B: n). Inner edge of apical part of hypandrium straight, unsclerotized ( Fig. 7 B: x). Inner processes settled in apical 1/3 of hypandrium ( Fig. 6 B: ih). Species is similar to M. neonaus sp. n. from which it differs in a few characters mentioned in the key. The most clear difference is in the shape of the inner edge of the apical part of the hypandrium ( Figs. 7 A: x, 7B: x) and smaller posterior surstyle lobe ( Figs. 6 A, 8A). Type material. Etymology. The word kopensis refers to the type locality of the species, Kop Mountain in Turkey .
