Antennae: Brown; not reaching base of pronotum when laid alongside; A3 curved triangularly, lower parts very short. Pronotum: Black; anterior half parallel, conspicuously constricted towards base; with six elevations on disc and two elevations at base (in middle); finely and diffusely punctate; length:width ratio 1.61:1. Scutellum: Dark red-brown. Elytra: First half red-brown, each elytron with a whitish lateral spot in the basal third, remainder black with whitish transverse fasciae beyond middle spanning from lateral to sutural margins; diameter of punctures at shoulder smaller, at disc larger than interstices, punctures elongate behind fascia; length:width ratio 2.38:1. Legs: Dark red-brown. Lower surface: Head, pro- and mesothorax and abdomen dark red-brown to black, metathorax red-brown. Vestiture: With whitish hairs. Distribution: Tanzania .
