Sosnina & Sevastianov (1975) described Pygmephorus scrobiculatus Sevastianov, 1975 from nests of small mammals from Crimea, Ukraine . My examination of two female paratypes of P. scrobiculatus revealed conspecificity of P. scrobiculatus and P. stammeri Krczal, 1959 redescribed by Dastych et al. (1991) . Therefore I consider P. s c ro - biculatus syn. nov. as a junior synonym of P. stammeri . Material examined .
