.
Type
species by original designation—
T. tetragonius
Wang, 1997
.
Notes.
So far 13 species are known in the genus (Platnick 2013; Ono 2013). They occur in south
China
, South
Japan
and
Palau
. The body size varies from
2.3 to 6.6 mm
. The clypeus is performed into a triangular ‘rostrum’. Abdomen with dorsal pattern consisting of light paired inclined chevrons, but without a dorsal patch of whitish appressed setae.
Diagnosis.
The genus is rather similar to
Pritha
Lehtinen, 1967
due to the body shape, and palpal details such as the shape of the bulb and horseshoe-shaped cymbium, but can be easily distinguished by having the calamistrum composed of three rows of setae (two rows in
Pritha
).
