Note: —This subspecies can be recognized by its translucent leaves with cordate leaf bases. Individuals of this subspecies sometimes also have purple pigment on their fruit hairs ( Boufford 1982 ). Although Skvortsov (1977) stated in the protologue that the type is stored in LE , the type status is still dubious because we cannot guarantee the existence of duplicates. So, we leave this issue open for further studies.
