Nomenclatural notes: In the original description, the species was described based on “

”. Two specimens have been found in
ZISP
but both are females (cabinet 217/drawer 6). One of them was designated a
lectotype
by
László
& al.
(2007: 178)
as
Psidopala opalesens
Alph. The
second female is supplied with an additional red rectangular label: «

Only two females are present and no male. It is possible that S. Alphéraky had wrongly interpreted gender in one specimen or that the
