Komai et al. (2018) diagnosed the genus and discussed its synonymy at length. Four species have been recorded from the Indo-West Pacific: L. grandidieri ( Coutière, 1899 ) ; L. madagassus ( Lenz and Richters, 1881 ) ; L. rosae ( Nobili, 1904 ) ; and L. tridentatus (von Martens, 1868 ) ; three occur in these collections.
