. These specimens belong to the

species group of subgenus
Laemostenus
(in the sense of
Casale 1988
), including
L. aegyptiacus
Schatzmayr, 1936
;
L. antonrichteri
Casale, 1988
;
L. bergvalli

L. sinaiticus

). In the Near East and the Middle East this species group has been reported from
CY
,
EG
,
IL
,
IR
,
LB
, SY, TR (
Casale & Wrase 2012
;

). During the present study, the two above adult specimens were collected by pitfall traps set in an African pencil cedar forest community at
2761 m
and in an
Olea europaea
community at
2285 m
. At this time, the identity of the species cannot be confirmed until additional material of this group becomes available to study morphological variability of this species group (A. Casale, personal communication).
