Distribution.
Atlantic-Mediterranean element. In
Morocco
, this species presents a fragmented distribution throughout the country (L’Mohdi 2016). In the area studied, it was cited from the mouth of the Moulouya River (
Chavanon
et al.
2004
) in stagnant saline waters. Previously, it was collected in Nador lagoon and
Oriental
Rif (
Fig. 8
).
