Emended diagnosis
Male:
As in
Cranston
et al
. (1989
: 424) with the following additions: Anal point with microtrichia, but without spinules, or without both microtrichia and spinules between anal crests.
Pupa:
As in
Pinder and Reiss (1986: 361)
with the following additions: Prealar tubercle well developed, thorax with 3 antepronotals, shagreen on tergite II–VI not extending anteriorly beyond seta D1, posterolateral corner of segment VIII with 1–4 spurs, segments III–IV with 3 L or LS setae, segment V with 3–4 LS setae.
Fourth instar larva:
As in
Pinder and Reiss (1983: 348)
with the following additions: Frontal apotome with or without median depression, S 3 simple or plumose, S 1 plumose, basal segment of antenna about as long as flagellum or shorter, one Lauterborn organ situated in proximal half or in the middle of antennal segment 2, inner margin of mandible with or without spines, posterolateral corner of segments II–VI with pair of plumose setae.
