Antennae reaching elytral apices approximately at apex of antennomere VII (male) or at half of IX (female). Scape yellowish with black tip, sparsely punctate. Pedicel yellowish. Antennomere III yellowish with apical fourth black; antennomeres IV and V with apical half black; VI–XI with black tip gradually narrower.
Prothorax black in males, anterior third of pronotum reddish-black. Sides of prothorax shiny. Pronotum with central tubercle slightly projected; base of pronotum with white pubescence. Prosternum with whitish pubescence in shape of a “V” on basal half. Scutellum with white pubescence.
Basal elytral declivity yellow for a short extension; narrow band along suture yellow until anterior third or anterior half; black (except margins) from base until apical fourth; in each elytron, this large area with two yellowish-white spots: (1) dorsal anterior third does not reach suture or margin and (2) oblique, small, postmedial, closer to suture than to margin; epipleura yellowish from base to apex; apical fourth yellowish-white. Elytral apices transversely truncated and slightly emarginate. See Variability.
Femora brownish, peduncle yellow, and finely pubescent. Tibiae and tarsi yellowish. Ventral surface of body reddish-brown covered with white pubescence.

Measurements in mm, male/female.
Total length, 6.9/5.9; prothorax length, 1.6/1.2; greatest prothorax width, 1.1/0.9; elytron length, 4.4/4.0; humeral length, 1.4/1.2.
