Coloration and morphology.
Yellowish brown (
Fig. 11
A–C). Crown dark brown with median longitudinal white stripe reaching tip of anterior margin, also with pair of lateral ochraceous stripes, pair of posterior yellowish spots present on each side of median white stripe. Eyes color tinged with red (
Fig. 11A, C
). Face whitish yellow with brownish narrow band along anterior margin (
Fig. 11D
). Pronotum with pale irregular spots, as well as with bright median stripe. Mesonotum and scutellum yellowish brown with pale spots (
Fig. 11A, C
). Femora and tibiae with dark brown marks (
Fig. 11B
). Crown narrower than pronotum, subconical, longer than
2x
width between eyes (
Fig. 11A, C
). Anteclypeus with submedian constriction, apex extending beyond normal curve of genae (
Fig. 11D
). Pronotum shorter than crown. Mesonotum and scutellum nearly as long as pronotum (
Fig. 11A, C
).
Male genitalia.
Pygofer lobe broad basally while narrowed towards posterior margin, with posterior short setae covering membranous area, tuft of long microsetae present near posterior margin. Pygofer process long, directed postero-dorsally, surpassing pygofer lobe, with subapical posteroventrally directed spine near apex (
Fig. 12A, 12B
). Subgenital plate triangular, broad basally, tapered towards apex with with lateral uniseriate macrosetae. Style elongated, with small apophysis (
Fig. 12D
). Connective Y-shaped with arms well separated, stem short (
Fig. 12E, F
). Aedeagus broad at base with well-developed dorsal apodeme, gonopore apical, aedeagal shaft slightly narrowed at mid-length, widened near apex in dorsal view, sinuate and evenly tapered distally in lateral view (

A: male pygofer, lateral view; B: male pygofer, dorsal view; C: anal tube, lateral view; D: subgenital plates, valve, style and connective, ventral view; E: connective and aedeagus, dorsal view; F: connective and aedeagus, lateral view; G: aedeagal shaft, ventral view.
Remarks.
This species resembles
G. furcatus
in external characters but can readily be distinguished by the subgenital plate with lateral margins not incurved at mid-length and the aedeagus without dorsal apical processes.
