Distribution.
A common
Basilia
species
distributed all over Europe, especially in Southern and Central Europe; rare in
Romania
, collected only at two distinct sites.
Remarks.
The primary host of this species is
My. nattereri
; however, it has been recorded on at least eight other species in Europe (
Szentiványi
et al.
2016
). In
Romania
it has only been recorded on secondary hosts.
