This species is separated from other members of the calceatum group occurring in eastern Asia by a combination of the following character states: female head wider than long (length/width ratio 0.91–0.95, n = 5); male head nearly as long as wide; male labrum and mandible yellow; male antenna short, not reaching metasoma; IS of mesoscutum smooth over entire surface in both sexes; female metapostnotum short, nearly as long as metanotum; and the disc of female T1 with sparse fine PP [male characters cited from Pesenko (2007b) ]. Kim , ELKU ) . Distribution. South Korea (new record), Eastern Siberia, Mongolia , China . Flight period in South Korea. Female: May to July. Males have not been recorded from South Korea. Males are collected from July in China ( Ebmer 2005 ). Flower records in South Korea. Not recorded.
