Further, the length of RIV+V is 1.2–1.5 times the length of the second tarsal segment (in C. pini less than 1.2). The diagnosis is based on Dransfield & Brightwell ( 2015 –2016). Holocyclic, monoecious on Pinus . Recorded hosts Pinaceae : Pinus nigra , pinea . Recorded attendant ants Formicinae : Formica rufa group. Distribution Western, central and southern Europe. Not yet recorded from the Nordic countries.
