Etymology:
—From “Liburnia” old name of Kvarner region. The epithet

liburnicum
” was given to this species by
Lovrić (1975

.
Distribution and ecology:
—This species is known only from the islands of Krk and Sv. Grgur (probably also on the island of Cres) in the Kvarner archipelago (N Adriatic) (
Fig. 28D
). It grows in the high calcareous windswept cliffs, together with other halophilous species and chasmophytes.
