Brachat & Meybohm / Holotypus Cephennium kartalicum sp. n. , det. V . Assing 2020” (cAss). Etymology : The specific epithet is an adjective derived from Kartal, the name of the mountain range where the species was discovered. Description : Body length 1.0 mm. Habitus as in Fig. 20 . Punctation of pronotum much more distinct than that of elytra. Other external and male secondary sexual characters as in C. marasicum and C. corruptum . : aedeagus ( Fig. 56 ) short, broad, and apically truncate, 0.24 mm long; internal sac with non-fimbriate structures of distinctive shapes; paramere apically extending slightly beyond apex of median lobe, with short apical seta. Comparative notes : Cephennium kartalicum is reliably distinguished from other species of the C. corruptum group only by the shape and internal structures of the rather small aedeagus. Distribution and natural history : The type locality is situated in Kartal Dağı, Gaziantep province , central southern Anatolia ( Map 3 ). The holotype was sifted at an alitude of 1200 m .
