From the Rothschild Collection. COMMENTS : Hartert cited Meek’s unique field number of the holotype in the original description. Rothschild and Hartert (1913: 497 , under Heteromyias armiti ) listed the specimens of this form that Meek collected on Mt. Goliath. Paratypes are: AMNH 608410 (Meek no. 5179), 608411 (5352), 608413 (5275), 608414 (5397), 608415 (5294), 608416 (5194), and 608417 (5180). AMNH 608417 was exchanged to FMNH in the early 1960s.
